Everly is an adopter's dream--she is perfectly behaved, has a nice medium-low energy level, is friendly toward all. She is also incredibly loyal and lives to please.
Everly had been living on the streets of TN for several months, being fed by a local rescuer, before she was finally able to be caught. Within a few days, a foster home was located for her. It appeared by her behavior and household knowledge that she definitely was someone's pet in the past.
This girl has a mellow temperament and likes staying close to her person. She has also done well with children that she has met. She just adores her foster mom and is a bit of a velcro dog as she follows her from room to room, lies at her feet and sleeps on the floor next to her bed.
Everly is wonderfully polite and appropriate with her foster canine siblings and completely ignores cats. She is both house and crate trained, and an absolute pleasure to walk on leash -- calm, easygoing, and non-reactive with no pulling. Loud vehicles can make her a bit nervous, so walks in quieter neighborhoods will suit her best. Everly is also the perfect car companion and happily rides along wherever you go.
Everly is an easygoing girlie who would thrive in a wide variety of homes. She would do fine in a home with or without other animals AND with or without children. .
She has such a gentle, affectionate spirit, and really just wants a companion who will love her and whom she can love in return. Could that be you?
