Pit Bull Terrier and Labrador Retriever Dogs Available for Adoption in Princeton, Massachusetts

DRAX

Pit Bull Terrier, Labrador Retriever
🇺🇸
Princeton, Massachusetts
May 26th
male, large, baby

DESCRIPTION

Meet Rea and Drax -- two gorgeous black pittie mix siblings who never really stood a chance in Memphis.

These babies came from a hoarding situation and landed at Memphis Animal Services as puppies, where they quickly found themselves "on the list." Sadly, this is the reality for far too many dogs there -- too many unwanted litters, not enough good homes, and very little spay/neuter enforcement.

Thankfully, a kind soul stepped up and paid to keep them safe in boarding for the past several months while we worked on getting them to New England.

Now it's finally their turn.

Rea and Drax arrive in New England this weekend and will each head to their very first foster homes, where we'll learn more about them outside of the kennel environment -- things like house training, crate training, leash skills, and just how much they enjoy finally getting to be carefree puppies.

And yes -- they are puppies. They have energy, excitement, and all the enthusiasm that comes with young dogs who haven't had much opportunity to experience the world yet. New England will be a huge change for them, so adopters should understand the importance of going slow with introductions, keeping things calm and structured at first, and giving them time to adjust without overwhelming them.

The world can feel pretty big and scary to young dogs who haven't seen much of it yet.

What we already know? The boarding staff absolutely adore them. They are sweet, loving, happy pups who have handled far more uncertainty than dogs their age ever should.

We'll be getting updated photos and more information soon, but honestly... if either one catches your eye now, don't wait too long. We have a feeling these beautiful babies are going to steal hearts very quickly.

And the best part? You won't be doing it alone. We know these pups are going to succeed, and we'll be here to support their adopters every step of the way.
