Wookie is a soooo adorable, sweet, snuggly boy who is ready to find a family to call his own. He was surrendered by his previous owner due to a skin condition, but he's doing really well and is thriving with periodic medicated baths to keep him feeling his best.

This handsome guy is as affectionate as they come. If you sit down, don't be surprised if Wookie decides your lap is exactly where he belongs -- and he'll absolutely let you know when he's ready for cuddle time. He loves being close to his people and would happily soak up all the snuggles you're willing to give.

Wookie does well in his crate and keeps it clean, though if he knows you're nearby, he'd much rather be out spending time with you. He walks nicely on a leash and enjoys getting out to explore.

He's still learning a few manners and can occasionally get a little overexcited, including some humping behavior, but he takes correction well from other dogs and is already making progress -- especially now that he's neutered. He has a lot of potential with continued consistency and guidance.

Wookie is looking for a family who will appreciate his loving heart, continue helping him build confidence and polish his manners, and of course, save plenty of room on the couch (and their lap) for this affectionate boy.
He's proof that sometimes all a dog needs is a second chance and someone willing to love them through the little things.
