Pit Bull Terrier Dogs Available for Adoption in Princeton, Massachusetts

BUTTERSCOTCH

Pit Bull Terrier
🇺🇸
Princeton, Massachusetts
May 25th
male, large, baby

DESCRIPTION

Meet Butterscotch, an absolutely adorable pup with the sweetest soul and a calm, easygoing personality to match. Despite the heartbreaking start he had in life, this handsome boy has proven to be incredibly resilient and full of love.

Butterscotch and his sibling, Toffee (also available for adoption), were found in Tennessee barely alive beside a pile of trash bags -- emaciated, weak, and struggling to survive. Thankfully, their finder rushed them to a local shelter, where one of our Southern fosters stepped in to give them the second chance they so desperately deserved.

Since being rescued, Butterscotch has been blossoming in foster care. He did arrive with a few bite wounds, but they are healing beautifully, and his gentle spirit continues to shine brighter every day.

This sweet boy loves being around his people and enjoys the company of the other dogs in his foster home as well. He settles nicely in his crate and is making wonderful progress with housetraining.

Butterscotch is looking for a loving family that will continue helping him grow with patience, guidance, and puppy training as he matures into the incredible companion he is meant to be. All he truly wants is a safe home, kind hearts, and a chance to be loved the way every dog deserves.

If you're ready to open your heart to a very special pup, Butterscotch is ready to meet you.

ATTENTION PUPPY ADOPTERS: You must attend training/behavior classes with your new dog unless you are an experienced dog owner and your adoption coordinator is comfortable with your experience. This requirement is for your benefit and your puppy's, so if you experience behavioral issues, you have a point of contact.

PLEASE--Think long and hard before adopting a puppy. Consider the lifestyle change this puppy will come with. He cannot be crated for more than 3-4 hours until he's older. Puppy-proofing your home will be necessary. Puppies scratch and nip, so if you have small children, can they handle this? Training will be so crucial in this puppy's life. Do you have the time?
