MEET BRAVO! - A Super-Sized Puppy with a Huge Heart!

Bravo is a 6 month old Great Dane who is very social and greets new people right away. He makes fast friends wherever he goes. Playful, funny, and incredibly loving.

He’s already a large puppy, but probably still has some growing to do. He rides well in a vehicle that suits his size.

Bravo is full of playful puppy energy. An active household would be a good fit. He thrives on playtime, and loves to meet other dogs of all sizes, however he does try to dominate, growling and barking during his play. Small dogs tend to be intimidated by his size. A large fenced yard with room to run would be great for him. He’s happy to play with large stuffed toys. Being young, if he doesn’t get enough exercise he may look for trouble and chew things he shouldn’t.

He easily becomes truly devoted to someone who cares and is attentive to him. He’s a gentle giant and likes to be as close as possible, whenever possible, and offers his undivided trust and attention. He enjoys just being able to rest his big head on a lap.

Bravo doesn’t have a good understanding of most basic commands and will need some training. He could also use leash training, which currently is sometimes a challenge.

He’s been working on his potty training and is making good progress. He needs to go out regularly and is pretty good at letting you know by insisting on your attention or pawing at the door. He hasn’t quite learned to wait to get out if his need is not met.

Our adoption clinics are held one Saturday a month at our facility in Schenectady on John Street, located directly behind Boulevard Bowl (Erie Boulevard) from 10 am to 12 pm (directions are on our website). We require an approved application before we consider anyone for an adoption - so filling out the application is your first step. Once your application has been reviewed, you will receive an email invitation to attend an adoption event. Different dogs and puppies go up for adoption EVERY WEEK so please feel free to visit the site and click on the Petfinder link for updates as we are adopting dogs out in between adoption events. Puppies and dogs up to 2 years old are $395. Dogs over 2 years old are $295. 100% of the adoption fees go to help us save more dogs.
