Meet Hayes -- a sweet, goofy, oversized puppy with a heart just as big as his paws.

Hayes has only been in foster care for a short time, but he's already making himself right at home. After discovering the toy basket, he carries toys one by one to the couch, piles them around himself, and snuggles right in like he's been living there forever. Soft toys are definitely his favorite -- not to destroy, but to cuddle, lick, love on and bury along with his dog bones.LOL

This handsome boy is curious about absolutely everything. If it's taller than him, he's probably going to try to investigate it with those giant puppy paws! He's already learning house manners and working hard on understanding that counters and dressers are off-limits.

Hayes doesn't bark much, but when he hears a siren, he lets out the most adorable howl that will absolutely make you smile. He's affectionate, eager to bond with his people, and clearly enjoys being inside with the family. Despite all the recent changes in his life, he's adjusting quickly and soaking up love every chance he gets.

He's still very much a puppy -- learning routines, building confidence, and figuring things out day by day -- but underneath all that clumsy puppy energy is an incredibly sweet, clingy soul who just wants to be close to his humans.

And judging by those giant feet and big ol' head? Hayes is going to grow into one very handsome big boy.

He is kind of clingy, super sweet & gentle. Not food or toy aggressive. Sweet & playful with our cat. He buries his bone in the cushions of the couch and his stuffed animal in the backyard.d
