Meet Tumble, a handsome 5-year-old Pekingese mix with striking coloring and an adorable look that is sure to turn heads wherever he goes.

Tumble came to ACCT Philly alongside 11 other dogs after their owner sadly passed away. In an instant, the world he knew was turned upside down. After making his way to us, Tumble has been slowly learning how to navigate all of these changes, but it's clear he still feels very unsure about his new reality.

Right now, Tumble is a nervous boy who is looking for a patient family willing to help him build confidence. He struggles with leash skills and can be especially worried when it's time to put on a collar and leash. While these things may feel overwhelming to him today, we know that with time, consistency, and kindness, Tumble has the potential to make tremendous progress.

Tumble is seeking a quiet, low-key home that will meet him where he is and celebrate the small victories along the way. Because he is still fearful and adjusting, a home without children is preferred so he can continue gaining confidence at his own pace. He would also love to have a friendly, social dog in the home to help show him that the world isn't such a scary place. Having a canine role model could make a huge difference in helping him blossom.
