Mixed Breed Dogs Available for Adoption in New York, New York

TWILIGHT

Mixed Breed
🇺🇸
New York, New York
May 11th
female, medium, baby

DESCRIPTION

Twilight is a 4-month-old, 15 lb pup (as of May 6th) with a bright spirit and a playful heart. Rescued from the streets of Puerto Rico alongside her siblings, she’s already shown how resilient and loving she can be.

Twilight may take a little time to feel comfortable in new surroundings, but once she settles in, her fun-loving personality shines. She enjoys playtime, exploring, and soaking up attention from the people she trusts. With a bit of patience and encouragement, she quickly warms up and becomes a happy, affectionate companion.

She will be arriving in Morristown, NJ on May 16th and would love to meet her adopter right at the airport. If not, she’ll be welcomed into a local foster home while she waits for her forever family.

Twilight is looking for a home that will give her the love, time, and guidance every puppy deserves. In return, she’ll bring joy, companionship, and plenty of playful moments to your life.

About The Sato Project:
The Sato Project has been working hard since 2011 to rescue and rehabilitate the stray dogs of Puerto Rico, known locally as “satos.” To date, we’ve saved over 8,000 dogs and are committed to stopping the overpopulation crisis with spay/neuter and vaccination programs. Your adoption helps us continue this vital work.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
