DESCRIPTION

Meet Rudolph

Rudolph is a 4-month-old, 23 lb sweetheart (as of 4/2/26) with a truly inspiring story. He was rescued in Puerto Rico alongside his siblings, and heartbreakingly, he was the only one who survived. Despite everything he’s been through at such a young age, Rudolph has remained incredibly loving, resilient, and full of life.

He is a sweet, affectionate boy who is ready to leave his past behind and start his next chapter with a family of his own. Rudolph has so much love to give and will make a wonderful, loyal companion as he grows.

Rudolph will be flying to Morristown, NJ this May and would absolutely love nothing more than to meet his forever family right at the airport . There is something so special about being the one he runs to after his journey.

If he isn’t adopted prior to arrival, Rudolph will be welcomed into a foster home in the tri-state area where he can continue to decompress and settle in while waiting for his perfect match.

If you’re looking for a resilient, loving pup to grow up with, Rudolph might just be your boy .

About The Sato Project:
The Sato Project has been working hard since 2011 to rescue and rehabilitate the stray dogs of Puerto Rico, known locally as “satos.” To date, we’ve saved over 8,000 dogs and are committed to stopping the overpopulation crisis with spay/neuter and vaccination programs. Your adoption helps us continue this vital work.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
