DESCRIPTION

Meet Shakira Shakira, a 1–2 year old, 30 lb sweetheart who is ready to find her forever home. She has a happy, loving personality and is always eager to be around people, soaking up attention and giving plenty of affection in return.

She’s at a great age—past the puppy stage but still playful and full of life. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or relaxing at home, Shakira Shakira will happily be by your side as a loyal companion. Her medium size makes her a great fit for many homes and lifestyles.

Shakira Shakira will be arriving in Morristown, NJ on May 16th. If she isn’t adopted before then, she will go into foster—but she would love nothing more than to go straight into a forever home.

And yes, her name is Shakira Shakira—her hips might not lie, but what really won’t lie is how quickly you’ll fall in love with her.

If you’re looking for a sweet, joyful dog to share your life with, she could be the perfect match.

About The Sato Project:
The Sato Project has been working hard since 2011 to rescue and rehabilitate the stray dogs of Puerto Rico, known locally as “satos.” To date, we’ve saved over 8,000 dogs and are committed to stopping the overpopulation crisis with spay/neuter and vaccination programs. Your adoption helps us continue this vital work.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
