Meet Hart! This sweet 34 year old, 40 lb boy was rescued from a terrible hoarding situation in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico. Our team brought Hart and the other dogs into our Sanctuary, where he received the medical care, socialization, and love he needed to begin his healing journey.
Hart has been doing wonderfully and is now ready to find his forever home!
Our staff describes Hart as a fun, active, and affectionate boy. He is the kind of pup who brings energy, excitement, and a winning attitude wherever he goes just like the New York Knicks, Hart is ready for his next big win: finding his forever family!
Hart would thrive with a family that can keep up with his energy and provide plenty of exercise, whether that means long walks, playtime at the park, hiking adventures, or exploring new places together.
He is also a very smart pup who loves mental stimulation, so enrichment games and activities will be right up his alley! For a family willing to give him the time, attention, and adventures he deserves, Hart will reward them with endless love, loyalty, and companionship.
Hart is hoping to fly to the NJ tri-state area soon, so submit your application today and help this special sato score the forever home hes been waiting for!

About The Sato Project:
The Sato Project has been working hard since 2011 to rescue and rehabilitate the stray dogs of Puerto Rico, known locally as satos. To date, weve saved over 8,000 dogs and are committed to stopping the overpopulation crisis with spay/neuter and vaccination programs. Your adoption helps us continue this vital work.
