Mixed Breed Dogs Available for Adoption in New York, New York

REY

Mixed Breed
🇺🇸
New York, New York
May 8th
female, medium, baby

DESCRIPTION

Rey is a 4-month-old, 12 lb pup (as of May 6th) with a brave heart and a playful spirit. Rescued from the streets of Puerto Rico with her siblings, she’s already proven she’s strong, adaptable, and ready to begin her next adventure with a forever family.

Like any great hero, Rey can be a little cautious when entering new surroundings, but give her a little time and she’ll quickly come into her own. Once she feels safe, her fun, affectionate personality shines through. She loves to play, explore, and bond with her people—bringing balance, joy, and just the right amount of puppy energy into your life. The force is strong with this one, especially when it comes to forming loyal connections.

Rey will be arriving in Morristown, NJ on May 16th and would love to meet her adopter right at the airport—her very own “A New Hope” beginning. If that’s not possible, she’ll head to a local foster home to await the next chapter of her journey.

If you’re looking for a companion to join you on all of life’s adventures, Rey is ready to be by your side. She may start off a little reserved, but with a bit of patience and love, she’ll become your most loyal ally in the galaxy.

About The Sato Project:
The Sato Project has been working hard since 2011 to rescue and rehabilitate the stray dogs of Puerto Rico, known locally as “satos.” To date, we’ve saved over 8,000 dogs and are committed to stopping the overpopulation crisis with spay/neuter and vaccination programs. Your adoption helps us continue this vital work.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
