Meet Pookie

Pookie is a 4‑month‑old, 15‑pound mixed breed puppy with a sweet personality and a bright future ahead. He came to us from ACCT Philly after a frightening start to life, he and his sibling were found in the streets after nearly being hit by a car. Recognizing that these puppies needed extra medical support and a safe place to land, we quickly transferred them into our care.

Despite everything he’s been through, Pookie is exactly what a puppy should be: super sweet, social, and friendly. He enjoys being around people, loves attention, and is ready to soak up everything the world has to offer.

When Pookie arrived, he had missing fur on his face, which was diagnosed as demodex mange. This condition is non‑contagious and has already been treated — now he just needs time for his fur to grow back fully. He’s feeling great and ready to focus on the important work of being a happy, playful pup.

Pookie is looking for a fun‑loving family who is excited to guide him through puppyhood and beyond, helping him learn, grow, and experience all the good things life has to offer.

If you’re ready to commit to training, patience, and lots of love, Pookie is ready to give it all right back.

He would need dog meets with any resident dogs.

He will come neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and 4dx tested.
