Meet Armatt

Armatt is a tiny 6‑lb, 3‑year‑old mixed breed with a big heart and a gentle spirit. He was found as a stray and brought to ACCT Philly, and we were grateful to welcome him into our care shortly after.

Armatt is very sweet and affectionate, though also quite skittish. New or loud environments can feel overwhelming for him, but even when he’s nervous, he allows pets and is comfortable being picked up and handled. What truly helps Armatt feel safe is people — he clearly finds deep comfort in being held close.

Recently, Armatt joined us at an event, and while the setting was a bit too much for him, he spent most of his time cuddling to his volunteer, soaking up reassurance and love. It was a clear reminder that this little guy just wants to feel secure and protected.

Armatt is looking for a calm, quiet home with patient adopters who will help him build confidence at his own pace. With consistency, gentle encouragement, and plenty of cuddles, he has all the potential to blossom into a devoted companion.
