Meet Ookie

Ookie is a 4‑month‑old, 15‑pound mixed breed puppy who is as lovable as they come. He arrived with his sibling from ACCT Philly after a very scary experience - both puppies were found in the streets after nearly being hit by a car. Knowing they would need extra medical care and lots of support, they were quickly transferred into our rescue.

Ookie has shown nothing but sweetness since the moment he arrived. He’s social, friendly, and eager to connect with people, with the kind of joyful puppy spirit that makes everyone smile. He enjoys attention, playtime, and learning about the world around him.

When Ookie first came to us, he had missing fur on his face, which was diagnosed as demodex mange. This condition is non‑contagious, has already been treated, and now simply needs time for his fur to grow back. He’s feeling good and thriving with proper care.

Ookie is looking for a fun‑loving family who is ready to guide him through puppyhood - helping him learn, grow, and build confidence as he becomes the best dog he can be. With a little patience, consistency, and lots of love, Ookie is sure to grow into a wonderful lifelong companion.

He would need dog meets with any resident dogs.

He will come neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and 4dx tested.
