DESCRIPTION

Hi, my name is Freya! I'm a PURPLE pawprint, which means I will fit well into a home that meets some specific criteria. Here is what would work best for me in my new home:

-Personality: Friendly, playful, silly, intelligent!
-Can Live with Kids: Unknown history - recommending dog savvy kids 10+ at this time due to some nervousness. Up to counselor's discretion.
-Can Live with Cats: Yes - Freya lived successfully with cats in her previous home, but was known to chase them from time to time. Should do well with dog savvy cats after slow and supervised introductions.
-Can Live with Dogs: Yes, Freya has tested well with other dogs in shelter and lived with her buddy Mr. Milo without issue. The two of them enjoy each other's company and would LOVE to be adopted together, although this is not required.
-Can do Apartment Living: No thanks - Freya needs a larger space to run around and explore. A fenced in yard would be ideal!
-Potty Trained: Yes
-Bite History: No
-Positive Reward Based Obedience Classes Required: Not required.
-Energy Level: Medium/High
-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: No, good to go!

Meet Freya - a confident, playful spirit, always ready to explore, have fun, and bring a little extra joy to the day. While she can be a bit unsure in brand-new situations, Freya takes it all in stride and settles in quickly; especially with a familiar friend nearby. Freya and her buddy Mr. Milo arrived at the shelter together and would love to be adopted together. That said, Freya and Milo are not a bonded pair and it is not required that they be adopted together (although they definitely could be!) Both Freya and Milo came to us with lovely manners, sweet dispositions, and a charming set of tricks that reflect the care and love they’ve known in a previous home. Freya’s playful energy and affectionate nature really shine once she’s comfortable, and she’s always eager to share her joy with the people she trusts. Both Freya and Mr. Milo would each thrive in homes that can offer patience, love, and continued support as they settle in. Whether adopted together or separately, they’re sure to bring companionship, personality, and plenty of tail wags into their future homes. If you’re ready to welcome one (or both!) into your life, they can’t wait to meet you!

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
