Domestic Medium Hair Cats Available for Adoption in Bellingham, Washington

MOLLY

Domestic Medium Hair

Bellingham, Washington
May 9th
female, large, adult

DESCRIPTION

Hi, my name is Molly! I'm a PURPLE pawprint, which means I will fit well into a home that meets some specific criteria. Here is what would work best for me in my new home:

-Personality: Molly is shy at first but once she is comfortable she loves pets and will purr and make biscuits as a happy lap cat.
-Can Live with Cats: She would likely do okay with other cats after a slow and proper introduction. Would do best with another quiet, older respectful kitty.
-Can Live with Dogs: No thank you! Loud noises are very scary to Molly and she would likely be very scared and overwhelmed by dogs
-Can Live with Kids: Kids 10+ should be ok as long as they can respect Molly's boundaries and give her some space when she needs quiet time.
-Needs Indoor Only Home: Highly recommended! The outside world would be too loud and scary for Molly and since she likes to hide when she is scared it would be best to keep her safe indoors.
-History of Litter Box Issues: Her previous owners reported that Molly has urinated outside of the litter box on and off for her entire life. Her vet records indicate that Molly has a long history of having urinary crystals. Due to this she will need to be on a special urinary diet for the rest of her life.
-Energy Level: low to moderate energy
-Bite History: no
-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: nope, Molly is all good to go home asap.

Additional Information: Molly is shy and reserved at first but once she is comfortable and given time to gain confidence she is a cuddly purr monster! She loves to be pet on the head and under the chin and would make a great lap cat. Loud noises are very scary for Molly and tend to make her hide away so a quiet house that would give her a safe space to decompress and hide from the scary world would be best.
