Hi... my name is Buster.

I'm about 3 years old, 25 pounds, a a Miniature Poodle/Terrier mix, and full of a love that had to grow in the hardest way. Im small enough to cuddle easily, but with a heart as big as the sky and a soul that never gave up.

I am neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped and ready for adoption. I am available for adoption in Vancouver, BC from September 26th and can travel to Washington or Oregon if there is a potential adopter for me.

My adoption fee is $1000USD.

Here is my story:

I was born in an abandoned place and chained in a dark corner with no window, no shelter from the heat or cold, no soft bed, and never enough food or water. I didn't understand what suffering meant. I only knew that every time I tried to move closer to my friends, the chains would pull me back. I struggled against chains I could never escape. I learned what waiting felt like before I ever learned what playing was.

But even in that lonely place, I dreamed of more.

Then one beautiful day, everything changed. Kind humans came. The chains were unlocked. For the first time, I felt grass under my paws without limits. I tried to run, even though my legs didnt quite know how yet—but my heart ran ahead of me. The sky felt bigger that day. For the first time in my life, I was free.

Today, I am safe. I am warm. I am fed. And somehow, even after all Ive been through, I still believe in love. I am affectionate and gentle. I follow my humans from room to room just to be near them. I melt into arms like Ive been waiting my whole life to be held. I wag my tail for simple kindness—for soft voices, for gentle hands, for the sound of my name being called with love.

I don't carry anger in my heart. I only carry gratitude.

At 25 pounds, Im the perfect size for couch cuddles, long naps by your side, little adventures, car rides, and being your loyal shadow wherever you go. I will sit beside you on your good days. I will stay close on your hard days. I will love you in the quiet, steady way only a rescued heart truly knows how to love.

All I am missing now is one thing...
A forever family who will never leave me behind again.
