Hi... my name is Lucy.

I'm a 3.5 years old Goldendoodle, with fluffy gray fur and a little white patch on my chest that makes me easy to spot. I weigh about 50 pounds, so I'm just the right size for adventures during the day and cuddles on the couch at night.

I'm already **spayed, up to date on my vaccines and microchipped**.

I live with my foster family in Ridgefield, WA and also can travel to Vancouver, BC if there is a potential family for me.

Here is my story:

I don't think anyone ever imagined we'd have to say goodbye.

Not me.

Not my family.

Sometimes life changes in ways no one expects.

A new baby arrived.

Work became busier.

There were more trips away from home.

More responsibilities.

Less time.

And even though I'm still loved very much, the people who have cared for me made one of the hardest decisions a family can make...

To find me a home where I'll have the time, attention, and adventures I deserve.

That decision came from love.

Not because I did anything wrong.

I've been trying so hard to be the very best girl.

I'm house-trained.

I sleep quietly in my crate.

I know "sit," "stay," and "come."

I learn new things quickly because, if I'm honest...

I'm a little food obsessed.

A tasty treat can convince me to do almost anything!

I'm a Goldendoodle, and people say I have a beautiful coat, but what makes me happiest isn't hearing that I'm pretty.

It's hearing someone call my name.

I love people.

Really love them.

If you're making breakfast, I'd love to keep you company.

If you're working in the yard, I'll happily follow along.

If you're going for a walk, I'll be waiting at the door before you've even found your shoes.

And if we're just spending a quiet evening on the couch...

That's more than enough for me.

Being together is my favorite thing.

I have a playful side too.

Throw a ball, and I'll happily chase it.

Take me outside, and I'll explore every smell with excitement.

Afterward, I'll curl up beside you, completely content, just because we're together.

I do have a sensitive tummy and a few food allergies, so I eat a special hydrolyzed diet that keeps me feeling my best.

Other than that, I'm healthy and my veterinary records are ready to go with me.

More than anything...

I'm ready to belong again.

I'm not looking for perfection.

I'm looking for someone who has room in their heart and in their daily life for a loyal best friend.

Someone who wants a shadow with four paws.

Someone who smiles when they see a wagging tail waiting at the door.

Someone who believes dogs aren't just pets...

They're family.

If you choose me, I promise I'll make every ordinary day feel a little brighter.

I'll celebrate every walk like it's the greatest adventure ever.
