Meet Apollo!

Born into a litter of TWELVE, Apollo’s story didn’t start out easy. He and his siblings were rescued from an unstable situation, but you’d never know it by the way he embraces life now. Safe in a loving foster home, Apollo has traded uncertainty for belly rubs, playful chaos, and the simple happiness every puppy deserves.

At just 2.5 months old, Apollo is already living life at full speed. He’s curious, confident, and always ready to see what’s around the corner. Whether he’s tumbling around in an epic wrestling match with his brother Aries or dramatically flopping into a deep puppy nap afterward, Apollo does everything with enthusiasm. He’s social, silly, and full of personality—the kind of pup who will keep you laughing and make every day feel a little brighter.

But Apollo isn’t just any puppy—his breed mix matters. As a Malinois/Mastiff blend, he’s going to grow into a strong, intelligent, high-energy dog. That means he’ll need more than love (though he’ll happily take all of that too). Apollo is looking for a home that understands the importance of structure, training, and mental and physical enrichment. Ideally, his future family will have experience with working or guardian breeds—or a thoughtful, committed plan to help him grow into the incredible dog he’s meant to be. Speaking of growing... we're not sure his full grown size, but he's growing fast! His mom is 72 pounds and his dad is even bigger.

Because of his playful energy—and those sharp little puppy teeth that need redirection—Apollo would do best in a home with older or dog-savvy kids who can match his spirit and help guide him as he learns. He's been around other dogs and should be fine with a friendly dog who doesn't mind an annoying little brother.

Apollo will be neutered in mid-May and will be ready for his forever homes once he's healed. We are taking our time to find truly exceptional homes for these special pups—homes that will offer not just affection, but training, consistency, and a sense of purpose. Apollo has so much potential, so much love to give, and a whole life ahead of him. The only thing missing is the right person to share it with.

LOCATION & TRANSPORT:

This dog is currently in South Mississippi. Local and out-of-town adopters are welcome. For out of town adopters, we offer virtual meet-and-greets and can arrange transport to many states in the Northeast. (The $475 adoption fee includes transport to the city on this listing. Our transports run every 2-3 weeks to that location.) We cannot adopt to Rhode Island due to import restrictions.

VETTING:

All of our dogs are cleared by a licensed veterinarian for transport and arrive to their adopters spayed/neutered with age-appropriate vaccines completed and are microchipped. Note: We cannot guarantee breed mix or full grown size. Both are estimated based on any known history and physical observations.
