At just under 2 months old, Robbie is already showing off the brilliance and drive you’d expect from a Dutch Shepherd/Malinois mix—and he’s only just getting started. This handsome boy is growing fast, learning quickly, and soaking up the world around him like a little sponge. He’s smart, curious, and already doing wonderfully with early socialization. Robbie is the kind of puppy who doesn’t just exist in your life... he becomes part of everything you do.

Robbie comes from an incredibly resilient background. His mom is a Dutch Shepherd mix and his dad appears to be a full Malinois. He and his siblings were rescued from an area known for dog fighting—but that chapter is behind him now. Today, Robbie represents everything we love about rescue: strength, second chances, and the promise of something truly special. He’s ready to leave the past behind and step into a future filled with purpose, structure, and love.

Let’s be real—this is not your average puppy. Breeds like Dutch Shepherds and Malinois are incredible companions in the right environment, but they are not for the faint of heart. Robbie will need an active, committed, and experienced adopter who understands that a busy mind is just as important as physical exercise. He’ll thrive with someone who has a plan—whether that’s advanced training, agility, scent work, hiking, or another “job” that gives him purpose. Without that structure, he won’t reach his full potential—and we know he has so much to give.

We are currently accepting pre-adoption applications so that Robbie can head straight to his forever home once he’s neutered and ready. We will be conducting thorough screenings to ensure each puppy is placed in the right home. Applicants with breed experience—or a clear, thoughtful plan for training and engagement—will be given strong preference.

Robbie is one of five puppies (3 boys and 2 girls), and we’re happy to talk with you about his siblings too in case he finds his match quickly.

Once submitted, we will reach out to approved applicants by phone. We may also suggest other amazing dogs in our care who could be a great fit for your home.

LOCATION & TRANSPORT:

This dog is currently in South Mississippi. Local and out-of-town adopters are welcome. For out of town adopters, we offer virtual meet-and-greets and can arrange transport to many states in the Northeast. (The $525 adoption fee includes transport to the city on this listing. Our transports run every 2-3 weeks to that location.) We cannot adopt to Rhode Island due to import restrictions.

VETTING:

All of our dogs are cleared by a licensed veterinarian for transport and arrive to their adopters spayed/neutered with age-appropriate vaccines completed and are microchipped.
