Meet Amerie!

At just 5 months old, Amerie is already living up to her name—which means brave—and it couldn’t suit her more perfectly. This rare pinto (piebald) Siberian Husky is absolutely breathtaking, with a coat that turns heads everywhere she goes. But what really makes Amerie special isn’t just her looks… it’s the gentle, loving pup behind those striking eyes.

For such a young husky, Amerie is impressively calm, well-mannered, and sweet-natured. She’s the kind of puppy who leans into you for affection, takes the world in stride, and seems to understand more than you’d expect at her age. And kids? She is AMAZING with them. Truly. Patient, gentle, and happy to be their loyal companion.

She does great with other dogs and enjoys their company. Cats, on the other hand… she finds them quite fascinating and may have a lot to say about them (loudly). We don’t believe she would harm them, but she’ll definitely keep the conversation going.

Like many Huskies, Amerie is clever and curious—which means she can also be a bit of an escape artist. She’ll need a home where she isn’t left unattended in a yard and where her people understand the importance of supervision, structure, and engagement. A bored husky is a creative husky, and Amerie is too smart for her own good in the best way.

Amerie was found as a stray, limping on her back leg. X-rays revealed she has four broken toes on her back paw. Don't worry, it's not slowing her down and she's not limping now. Amerie is ready to move forward into a life where she’s cherished the way she deserves.

Amerie truly is the total package: beauty, brains, sweetness, and strength. We expect a lot of interest in her, and we’ll be looking closely for adopters who are experienced with the Husky breed or have taken the time to learn what makes them thrive.

LOCATION & TRANSPORT:

This dog is currently in South Mississippi. Local and out-of-town adopters are welcome. For out of town adopters, we offer virtual meet-and-greets and can arrange transport to many states in the Northeast. (The $550 adoption fee includes transport to the city on this listing. Our transports run every 2-3 weeks to that location.) We cannot adopt to Rhode Island due to import restrictions.

VETTING:

All of our dogs are cleared by a licensed veterinarian for transport and arrive to their adopters spayed/neutered with age-appropriate vaccines completed and are microchipped.
