Meet Parker and Josie!

These two best friends and siblings landed in an overcrowded shelter together and urgently needed rescue. Now they’re searching for a forever home willing to embrace double the love, laughs, and goofy energy.

An important piece of information... Parker is blind, but he navigates the world beautifully with Josie by his side. Josie naturally helps Parker feel safe and confident, acting like his built-in seeing-eye sister. Parker does an amazing job getting around and especially loves staying close to his people so he can use your presence and voice for reassurance. Watching the two of them together is honestly something special.

These aren’t tiny couch potatoes though — Parker and Josie are big, active dogs with free spirits and giant personalities. They’d thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard where Parker can safely explore, since leash walks can be more difficult for him. They’ll also need a family committed to continuing their training and giving them structure, exercise, and lots of love.

And yes… they are BIG goofs. Sweet, affectionate, playful, and guaranteed to keep life entertaining. The kind of dogs who make you laugh daily and become part of the family in no time. Josie is a bit over 50lbs and Parker is right under 50lbs.

We know adopting two large dogs together is a huge ask, but Parker truly relies on Josie and keeping them together would mean the world to us. For the perfect situations, we would consider separating them.

Once submitted, we will reach out to approved applicants by phone. We may also suggest other amazing dogs in our care who could be a great fit for your home.

LOCATION & TRANSPORT:

These dogs is currently in South Mississippi. Local and out-of-town adopters are welcome. For out of town adopters, we offer virtual meet-and-greets and can arrange transport to many states in the Northeast. (The $400 adoption fee is for BOTH DOGS and includes transport to the city on this listing. Our transports run every 2-3 weeks to that location.) We cannot adopt to Rhode Island due to import restrictions.

VETTING:

All of our dogs are cleared by a licensed veterinarian for transport and arrive to their adopters spayed/neutered with age-appropriate vaccines completed and are microchipped. NOTE: We cannot guarantee breed mix. It is a guess based on physical characteristics and any known history.
