Honeypie is currently in Mississippi and needs a FOSTER or ADOPTER to secure her spot on
the transport to Cedarburg, WI with Mutt Life Dog Rescue on October 10, 2026. A committed
home is required for her to make the trip, and we’re hopeful the right person is out there.
Meet Honeypie
Honeypie, affectionately called HP, is a petite girl who is close to a year old and weighs around
30 pounds. She was dumped as a stray in rural Mississippi and picked up by animal control
before making her way to the shelter.
HP is a happy, friendly girl who is anything but shy. She absolutely loves people and dogs and
would be thrilled to spend her days getting attention from her people. More than anything,
Honeypie wants to be loved and included, and she has a sweet, social personality that makes
her easy to fall for.
She is good with other dogs, cats, and kids, making her a great fit for a variety of homes. After
everything she has been through, HP is ready for someone to show her just how wonderful life
can be.
Honeypie has been spayed, is up to date on her vetting, and is heartworm negative. She will be
available to make the trip to Wisconsin on October 10, but she needs a foster or adopter
committed before transport.
