Meet Rocky — a beautiful female 2-year-old purebred German Shepherd weighing
approximately 70 pounds.
Rocky is smart, affectionate, loyal, energetic, and full of personality. She knows her commands,
including sit, stay, and down, and would love a home where she can have a job to do, plenty of
room to play, and people who understand the German Shepherd breed.
Rocky is wonderful with children and absolutely adores her people. She is incredibly loyal and
affectionate, and her family describes her as a very good girl who simply needs the right
environment to thrive.
The difficult part of Rocky’s story is that she has struggled with playing appropriately with other
dogs and has shown aggression toward the family’s Golden Retriever. Because of this, her
family believes Rocky would do best as the only dog in the home.
This is an incredibly difficult decision for a family who loves Rocky very much. They are not
looking to simply place her anywhere — they want to find the right opportunity for this beautiful
girl and a family who will appreciate all that she has to offer.
