Rachel (yes, that Rachel energy)
Born early February Labrador Retriever x Husky mix Small, but already iconic
There are puppies.
And then there's Rachel...who somehow arrived already knowing she's the moment.
This is not a "just happy to be here" puppy. This is a "I will be adored, thank you so much" situation. Not in a diva way-in a how are you this charming without trying way.
She's got that unmistakable Rachel-from-Friends energy-effortless, magnetic, a little bit "I didn't plan this but it's working," and suddenly everything revolves around her and no one is mad about it.
Rachel doesn't demand attention. Attention simply...organizes itself around her. You look over, she's doing nothing, and yet somehow it's the most compelling thing you've seen all day. You were busy. You had plans. Now you are watching Rachel exist and feeling like you've made a good decision.
Cuddly? Extremely. But in a soft-launch way. She'll ease into your lap like it was always hers, settle in, and give you that look like, "this feels right," and again...she's correct.
Playful, sweet, and operating with a level of natural charm that feels a little unfair to the rest of the puppies, Rachel passes every vibe check without even acknowledging there was one.
Currently small. Already unforgettable. Growing into a problem (for everyone who doesn't adopt her).
Rachel: serving looks, serving love, and about to accidentally become the best decision you've ever made.

Please note: Information to determine if you might be a match for one of our animals can only be found on our application.
*An inquiry, questions or introduction through Petfinder is NOT an application*
All known details about our animals are posted on their profile and updated daily. Other info will be discussed in detail with the foster during the application review process. Due to the high volume of introductions/questions received we ask you to submit an application (that application can be used for any dog with Take Paws Rescue).
The adoption fee for adult dogs covers age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter if not yet performed, heartworm test & appropriate heartworm treatment by the rescue's vet. All dogs in our care are also kept up-to-date on HW/Flea Prevention.
For more on this, or for additional information, including the adoption process and our adoption fee scale for all our adoptable pets (including an explanation about Benefactor Dogs), please see our FAQs page:

Labels are necessary for postings to many animal networking sites, such as our website, Chewy, Pet Finder, and others. These are in no way a guarantee. Additionally, exact age and potential size cannot be guaranteed.
***Take Paws Rescue saves dogs from high-kill shelters across the South, owner surrenders, and discarded dogs with uncertain futures. All of our animals live in foster homes where they are socialized, and well cared for. An application will be required to make sure it's the perfect match!
