Meet Rocky!
Rocky is just a chill dude. The softest, cuddliest, little boy! He is a snuggler and very easy going! He is a puppy, but is learning quickly! He enjoys to dig a bit but is at the chewing, nipping stage in puppyhood, but redirects well! New environments can make him a little nervous, so he likes to sit close to his person for safety but adjusts well! He promises to give you all the kisses, love, and snuggles when you get home from a long day!
Rocky is good with kids, hasnt been around cats, and loves other dogs! He is working on his potty/leash training and is crate trained! He is such a smart boy and already knows sit and come. Right now, he is working on down and potty training!
He is being fostered in Richmond, VA and is up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, has been dewormed, and is on monthly preventatives. His adoption fee is $375 and covers the cost of age-appropriate core vaccinations, microchip, and required neuter when age-appropriate. We require that all adopters, regardless of the dogs age, are committed to ongoing training and socialization as part of responsible ownership. To apply to adopt Rocky, visit www.beaglesandbentleys.org/adopt.
Spay/Neuter Disclosure:
Spay/Neuter will be scheduled when age-appropriate and is covered in the adoption fee. We require adopters to be within a reasonable distance of Richmond or Virginia Beach in order to complete spay/neuter with our approved clinics.
Note: Sending a Petfinder inquiry is not submitting an application. We require a completed adoption application to move forward with adoption.
Beagles and Bentleys has an across-the-board evaluative process that we apply to every application we review that prioritizes our animals in need. We conduct a vet reference check (all resident dogs must be altered/up to date on dhpp/rabies and monthly preventatives, and cats must be altered and up to date on rabies) and a virtual home visit call where we discuss the adoption process and see your home.
