McSteamy is an affectionate pup that has adjusted to home life very quickly! He is doing great with potty training, takes correction well, and learned "Sit" in one day! He is food-motivated, which will make training easy!
He is very affectionate, gentle, and loves people. He especially loves curling up on the couch next to them for cuddles. Loud noises don't phase this guy at all - he's a very curious pup! He is respectful around other dogs and gives his senior foster brother space when he wants it. He will make a great pup for someone looking for a well-rounded guy!
He is being fostered in Richmond, VA and is up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, has been dewormed, and is on monthly preventatives. His adoption fee is $375 and covers the cost of age-appropriate core vaccinations, microchip, and required neuter when age-appropriate. We require that all adopters, regardless of the dogs age, are committed to ongoing training and socialization as part of responsible ownership. Spay/Neuter Disclosure:
Spay/Neuter will be scheduled when age-appropriate and is covered in the adoption fee. We require adopters to be within a reasonable distance of Richmond or Virginia Beach in order to complete spay/neuter with our approved clinics.

Beagles and Bentleys has an across-the-board evaluative process that we apply to every application we review that prioritizes our animals in need. We conduct a vet reference check (all resident dogs must be altered/up to date on dhpp/rabies and monthly preventatives, and cats must be altered and up to date on rabies) and a virtual home visit call where we discuss the adoption process and see your home.
