ROOSTER IS CURRENTLY FOSTERED NEAR CLINTON, IOWA/QUAD CITIES.
Rooster is a familiar face to our rescue. He was originally saved from a small rural pound in Oklahoma and later found a home of his own. Unfortunately, due to changes in his adopters life circumstances, Rooster was returned and is once again searching for the forever family he deserves.
Rooster is a goofy, quirky boy with plenty of personality. He loves wrestling and playing with other dogs, running around, and burning off his energy, but once playtime is over, he is more than happy to settle in for some snuggles with his people.
Rooster is potty trained and crate trained. He knows sit and is currently working on his leash manners. He still has some learning to do on leash, but with consistency and continued practice, he should keep making progress.
Rooster does well with dogs, cats, and children. He especially enjoys having canine friends to play with and would love a home where he has plenty of opportunities to run, wrestle, and be his silly self.
Because Rooster is an energetic guy who loves having space to explore, a fenced yard is strongly preferred. He would thrive with a family that can give him plenty of exercise, enrichment, and room to run, followed by all the cuddles he wants afterward.
Rooster is up-to-date on vaccinations, on monthly preventative, dewormed, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $400.
If youre interested in giving Rooster his forever home, please complete our adoption application linked below. Thank you for considering adoption!
