Goldendoodle Dogs Available for Adoption in Dyer, Indiana

Stanley is a handsome, 90-pound F1 Goldendoodle (born May 7, 2020) with a big heart and an even bigger personality. Rescued in 2023, he’s ready to find a home that can give him the space and structure he thrives in.
Stanley is incredibly loving, loyal, and affectionate with his people. He’s a cuddle bug at heart and forms strong bonds with those he trusts. He does best with familiar faces. He can be over protective sometimes, but will quickly warm up to regular visitors.
Stanley is fully house-trained, does great when left home alone, and rides well in the car—making him an easy companion for daily life. He enjoys playing tug-of-war, fetch, and anything that lets him burn off energy.
He walks nicely overall but can get excited and pull—especially if he spots squirrels or other dogs. While he enjoys going to the dog park, he prefers to play fetch and run over interacting with other dogs. He has also attended doggy daycare and has been well behaved.
Stanley gets groomed regularly and has great skin and coat. He's well mannered on the grooming table.
Stanley’s ideal home:
-A fenced-in yard where he can run and stretch his legs
-An active household (kids who can run and play would be a big bonus!)

- Our dogs can be seen by appointment only. We do not have a facility at this time. Dogs are in foster homes or boarding
- Adoption fee helps to cover transport costs, spay/neuter, initial vaccines, rabies, fecal, initial worming, and microchip.
-We do not place holds on our dogs. Please do not contact us until you are prepared to adopt. NOTE: We are very good about updating the pet's profiles once adopted. So no need to write us to ask "Is he/she still available?" If the post is up, the dog is still available.
About Us: Day of the Dogs is a 501c3 nonprofit. Since 2015 we have been dedicated to helping shelters increase live release. We coordinate 2 - 4 transports per month from TX, OK and AR to NW Indiana/Chicagoland and the Kansas City area. We do direct adoptions ourselves out of Kansas City and NW Indiana areas.
