Meet Eneo!!

Ennio is a happy-go-lucky guy who is ready to trade shelter life for a family of his own!

Before coming to us, Eneo spent over a year at the Chillicothe Animal Shelter after arriving on March 25. During his stay, he was selected to participate in Missouri's Puppies for Parolees program, where inmates work closely with shelter dogs on obedience, manners, and socialization.

As a graduate of the program, Eneo comes with a training journal documenting everything he learned. He knows commands such as:

- Sit
- Down
- Stay
- Shake

And one of our favorites? If you lean down and say "Give me a kiss," Eneo will happily give you a little nose boop.

While it's been a little while since he completed the program, he has a great foundation and would love a family willing to continue practicing and building on the skills he's already learned.

Beyond his training, he is simply a wonderful dog. He gets along well with dogs of all sizes, enjoys being around people, and has the kind of easygoing personality that makes him a joy to have around.

After spending so much time waiting, Eneo is more than ready for a couch, a yard, and a family to call his own.

Basics: He is a neutered male guessed to be around 2 yrs old and weighs close to 34lbs. He currently participates in daycare at PetSuites in Lee's Summit

Adoption Process:

- One of our team members will get back to you via phone.
- Our dogs can be seen by appointment only. We do not have a facility at this time. Dogs are in foster homes or boarding
- Adoption fee of $260 helps to cover transport costs, spay/neuter, initial vaccines, rabies, fecal, initial worming, and microchip.
-We do not place holds on our dogs. Please do not contact us until you are prepared to adopt. NOTE: We are very good about updating the pet's profiles once adopted. So no need to write us to ask "Is he/she still available?" If the post is up, the dog is still available.
