Meet Zahla!

At just under 3 months old, Zahla is everything we adore about puppies—playful, sweet, a little mischievous, and always ready to make you smile. She’s the kind of girl who turns the simplest moments into something special… and then curls up next to you like you’re her whole world.

Zahla’s story didn’t begin with comfort. She and her family were found near a busy highway, where danger was always just a moment away. There were originally 10 puppies, but before help could arrive, two were tragically hit. Thanks to a dedicated volunteer, Zahla, her seven siblings, and their mama Zinnia made it to safety—and from there, everything started to change.

Now, Zahla is thriving—and it’s time to write the chapter she truly deserves: her forever home. In her foster home, Zahla is learning all the important puppy things—working on potty training, picking up good manners, and discovering how fun it is to just be a puppy. She does great with other pets and would love a home with kids who don’t mind a playful, bouncy best friend.

Zahla isn’t just looking for a place to live—she’s looking for her people. The ones who will laugh at her silly moments, guide her as she grows, and love her for a lifetime. She’s going to make an incredible companion, and we’re committed to finding her the perfect match.

Once submitted, we will reach out to approved applicants by phone. We may also suggest other amazing dogs in our care who could be a great fit for your home.

LOCATION & TRANSPORT:

This dog is currently in South Mississippi. Local and out-of-town adopters are welcome. For out of town adopters, we offer virtual meet-and-greets and can arrange transport to many states in the Northeast. (The $450 adoption fee includes transport to the city on this listing. Our transports run every 2-3 weeks to that location.) We cannot adopt to Rhode Island due to import restrictions.

VETTING:

All of our dogs are cleared by a licensed veterinarian for transport and arrive to their adopters spayed/neutered with age-appropriate vaccines completed and are microchipped. Note: We cannot guarantee full grown size or breed mix. Both are guesses based on physical characteristics and any known history.
