Meet Ava, she is a one and a half year old Domestic Shorthair cat.
Ava is a sweet, friendly girl who’s ready to find her forever home—this time for good. She was sadly returned due to allergies in her previous home, but she hasn’t let that dim her loving spirit one bit.
This affectionate kitty absolutely loves attention and will reward you with big, happy purrs the moment you start giving her some love. She’s also got a playful side—bring out a feather toy and watch her come to life as she chases, pounces, and shows off her fun personality.
Ava would do best in a home where she can truly feel comfortable and relaxed. She may prefer being your one and only feline, or living in a home with enough space to have her own area away from other cats when she needs it.
If you’re looking for a loving companion who’s equal parts cuddly and playful, Ava is ready to fill your home with purrs and joy.

Our adoption fee includes a lovable companion, spay/neuter, vaccinations and intestinal worming, flea/tick treatment, rabies vaccine (for pets over 3-4 months of age) and a microchip with nationwide registration. Your adoption fee helps support YHS and our spay/neuter efforts in the community to end overpopulation of cats and dogs.
