Meet Seth, a ten-month-old Golden Retriever/Spaniel mix weighing 31 pounds.

Seth is a beautiful medium-sized boy with thick, wavy fur that’s sure to turn heads—and maybe even make you a little jealous! Beneath that handsome exterior is a sensitive soul who’s still learning that the world can be a safe and loving place.

Seth came to us after his previous owner, who was experiencing homelessness, was arrested. It’s been a big transition for him, and he can be nervous and unsure in new situations. Because of this, he’ll need a patient and understanding adopter who’s willing to go slow and give him the time and space he needs to feel secure.

With gentle guidance, socialization, and plenty of TLC, Seth has so much potential to blossom into a loyal and loving companion. He’s already shown that he wants to connect—he just needs someone to help him build confidence at his own pace.

At this time, Seth may do best in a home without young children, where things are a bit calmer and more predictable. As he grows more comfortable and confident, that could absolutely change.

If you have a kind heart, a little patience, and a lot of love to give, Seth could be an incredibly rewarding companion who will form a deep and special bond with you.
