Meet Hanzo, a four-year-old Domestic Shorthair cat.

Hanzo is a resilient and sweet boy who’s been through a tough time—but you’d never guess it from the way his personality is starting to shine. He came to us with wounds on his face, neck, and legs, but with care and treatment, he’s healing up nicely and feeling better every day.

During his neuter, Hanzo also had a tooth extraction, and since then, he truly seems like a brand new cat. As he continues to recover, it’s been so rewarding to watch him relax, open up, and show off his friendly, gentle nature.

Hanzo enjoys attention and is becoming more confident as he realizes he’s safe and cared for. There’s something really special about seeing him rediscover comfort and happiness—it’s like watching him come into his own.
