Meet JJ, a one-of-a-kind 1-year-old Chihuahua mix who is basically a tiny heart on four paws. She is pure love wrapped in a petite, 20-pound frame, and she knows exactly how to make every moment feel special. Extremely affectionate and truly believing that cuddling is a full-time job, JJ thrives on human connection and radiates warmth in everything she does. She smiles whenever you talk to her, as if she understands every word and is simply happy to be included.
Belly rubs are her superpower, and she will turn over in a heartbeat to get one. She adores warm blankets and cozy beds, often burrowing in to make herself completely at home in the softest spot she can find. JJ isn’t especially focused on toys, but she is deeply people-oriented and would much rather engage in interactive play with her humans than play alone. She is tender, loving, and truly one of a kind, the kind of companion who feels like a soulmate.
JJ is a lover of life in all forms. She thrives on attention, car rides, and any adventure that involves her favorite humans. House trained and kennel trained, she is also well-mannered on leash and knows her commands, showing just how smart and eager to please she is.
Her affection is endless. She adores kids, cats, and dogs, making friends wherever she goes. She has a way of turning ordinary moments into little celebrations of joy—whether she’s giving puppy kisses, snuggling under a blanket, or leaning close just to let you know you are her whole world. JJ is playful in spirit, deeply gentle in heart, and absolutely devoted. Invite her into your life, and she will fill it with warmth, laughter, and the kind of love that feels like sunshine in puppy form.🐾
JJ is spayed, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, and microchipped.
Given the conditions JJ originated from, upon rescue, she tested positive for Heartworm disease. Thanks to Home for Good Dog Rescue, JJ has completed her Heartworm treatment.
*Heartworm disease is a serious and if left untreated, fatal disease. It is caused by foot-long worms (heartworms) that live in the heart, lungs, and associated blood vessels of affected animals, causing severe lung disease, heart failure, and damage to other organs in the body. Mosquitoes are carriers of heartworms and have the ability to infect dogs all year round, especially in the Southeastern portion of the United States and during the summer months.*
