Kellet is a 6‐month‐old Shepherd/Hound mix with the sweetest, most earnest expression and a heart to match. He’s the kind of pup who immediately feels like “one of your own” — gentle, social, and eager to be part of whatever his people are doing. At this age, he’s the perfect blend of playful puppy energy and soft, snuggly affection.

Kellet is wonderfully dog‐friendly, kid‐friendly, and even cat‐friendly, making him an easy fit for a wide range of homes. He loves exploring the outdoors, learning new things, and soaking up attention from anyone willing to give him a scratch behind the ears.

With his good nature and adaptable personality, Kellet is ready to grow into the loyal, loving companion he’s meant to be. All he needs now is a family who will guide him, adore him, and let him blossom.

Kellet is neutered, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, and microchipped.

HFG Dog Rescue is a 100 percent foster-based rescue located in Berkeley Heights, NJ with a sister location, The Almost Home Wellness Center, in Aiken, SC. All of our dogs are rescued from kill shelters in SC + GA and once ready for adoption live in loving local NJ foster homes until they find forever families of their own. Our fosters begin basic training, housebreaking, and leash-walking skills to help pair you with the perfect pup for life!
