At just 5 months old and 21 pounds, Kenzie is the kind of Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever mix who walks into a room and instantly brightens it. She’s outgoing, friendly, and convinced every person she meets is a brand‐new best friend. Her tail never stops wagging, her smile is constant, and her enthusiasm for life is downright contagious.

Kenzie adores playing with other dogs and has that silly, goofy puppy charm that makes her the star of every playgroup. Toys are her love language — squeakers, kongs, balls, you name it, she’s ready to turn it into a game. After she’s had her fun, she’s all about curling up for snuggles and soaking up affection.

HFG Dog Rescue is a 100 percent foster-based rescue located in Berkeley Heights, NJ with a sister location, The Almost Home Wellness Center, in Aiken, SC. All of our dogs are rescued from kill shelters in SC + GA and once ready for adoption live in loving local NJ foster homes until they find forever families of their own. Our fosters begin basic training, housebreaking, and leash-walking skills to help pair you with the perfect pup for life!
