Meet Carder, a 7-year-old French Bulldog mix weighing 30 pounds, whose sweet soul shines brighter than his past. Adopted from HFGD Rescue seven years ago, Carder was returned because his family no longer had time for him. The kids are grown and no one could bother to care for the "until dog". In fact they told family and friends that the dog passed away. Well Carder is very much alive and well and looking for his forever family in his senior years. He is perfect. He loves dogs, cats and kids. Basically he is ready made for any household. He hasn’t lost an ounce of his trusting, loving nature even though his humans failed him.

This handsome guy is instantly friendly with anyone he meets and has a personality that fills the room. Smart and intuitive, Carder even lets you know when it’s time for a potty break, making life with him easy and enjoyable. He’s calm on a leash, loves attention, and is always ready to show his affectionate, forgiving heart.

Carder has been through a lot, but he carries it with grace and warmth, proving that resilience and love go paw in paw. He’s ready for a new family who will cherish his gentle, clever, and endlessly sweet nature. 🐾

Carder is neutered, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, and microchipped.

All of our dogs are rescued from kill shelters in SC + GA and once ready for adoption live in loving local NJ foster homes until they find forever families of their own.
