-She explored the yard briefly before coming over for pets and attention. The corner traffic made her a little nervous but it didn't last long before zoomies took over!
-Inside she was still a little nervous and cautiously explored everything. It took her awhile to settle in and relax but when she did she enjoyed laying next to me for pets and belly rubs.
-She is affectionate and gives kisses
-She likes treats, sits and takes them nicely
-She is not currently playing with toys
-Energetic youngster
-She still needs work on leash still. She pulls sometimes and can also be bouncy and jumpy when her puppy energy gets the best of her
-Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros

*Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment.

*Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in.

*There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption.

*To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering.

**And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.**

*The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30, except for Wednesday when we open at 11:30.

**We ask that if you're looking to adopt, you arrive before 5:00 to be able to have enough time to meet the dog.
