Meet Essie, a stunning 1.5-year-old Cane Corso with a beautiful black brindle coat, an adorable docked tail, and 65 pounds of pure love! She’s on the smaller side for her breed, but her personality is anything but small.

Essie’s story didn’t start out the way any dog’s should. She was dumped and left to fend for herself in the middle of nowhere alongside three other Cane Corsos. Thankfully, those days are behind her, and she’s finally getting the second chance she deserves.

And let us tell you, this girl is something special!

Essie is a complete wiggle butt! Her entire body practically dances when she’s excited, and her hilarious zoomies will have you laughing nonstop. She’s happy-go-lucky, incredibly affectionate, and seems to love everyone and everything she meets.

Despite her rough beginning, Essie hasn’t lost her love for people or life. She’s resilient, outgoing, playful, and ready to make up for lost time.

We’re looking for an active, committed family who understands that Cane Corsos are intelligent, powerful dogs who thrive with structure, consistency, and clear boundaries.

Her ideal home will have a securely fenced yard, plenty of opportunities for exercise and enrichment, and ideally another friendly, playful dog to share her adventures with.

Essie will need a family willing to invest in her success through continued training, socialization, and positive reinforcement. She’s still young, eager to learn, and has so much potential.

She’s not looking for someone who simply loves the appearance of a Cane Corso. She’s looking for someone who understands the responsibility of owning one and is committed to giving her the guidance, stability, and love she deserves.

In return, you’re getting one of the sweetest, silliest, most affectionate girls you could ever hope to meet.
