Meet Pumpkin

Tiny, honey blonde, and getting braver by the day.

Pumpkin is Straw’s sweet little sister and is approximately 10 weeks old. She is only around 3 pounds with the most beautiful honey-blonde coat, tiny little body, and an absolutely irresistible face. She is likely a Dachshund/Jack Russell mix, and we expect her to stay small, probably around 12 pounds full grown.

Pumpkin came to us from a difficult situation in Fresno, but that chapter of her life is officially behind her. She was a little more unsure when she first arrived, but every single day we are watching more of her personality come through.

She is blossoming into a sweet, curious and playful little puppy. As she realizes she is safe, her confidence continues to grow. She enjoys other dogs and would benefit from having a friendly canine companion to play with, learn from, and help show her the ropes.

Pumpkin is still truly a baby, and her forever family needs to be ready for everything that comes with raising a puppy. We are looking for a family with a flexible schedule and the financial ability and commitment to provide professional training, continued socialization, exercise, structure, and plenty of positive new experiences.

Her ideal home would be a house with a secure yard and, even better, another friendly dog to grow up alongside.

Pumpkin had no control over how her story started. Now she needs a family committed to making sure the rest of it is filled with safety, adventure, and a whole lot of love.
