DESCRIPTION
Meet Butternut Squash
Possibly the cutest name for the cutest little puppy.
Butternut Squash is approximately 10 weeks old and likely a Dachshund/Jack Russell mix. He’s currently only about 4 pounds, with the most adorable markings, short squatty little legs, and a thick little body. We estimate he’ll probably be around 12 pounds full grown.
This little guy came to us from a bad situation in Fresno, but dogs are incredibly resilient. That chapter is behind him, and you would never know he had been through anything difficult.
Butternut Squash is social, confident, curious, and BUSY. He is everything a puppy should be. He loves other dogs, loves exploring, and is ready to experience everything the world has to offer.
But remember, he is truly a baby. He comes with all the work that raising a puppy requires. His forever family needs to have a flexible schedule and be prepared to commit to training, continued socialization, exercise, structure, and all the time and financial responsibility that comes with raising a puppy into a well-rounded adult dog.
His dream home would be a house with a secure yard where those little legs can run and play. Another playful dog would be a huge bonus to help keep him busy, continue building his social skills, and give him a canine buddy to grow up with.
Butternut Squash has already left his rough beginning behind him. Now he just needs a family ready to give him the childhood—and forever—that every puppy deserves.
Adoption fee is 550
