Hi there! I’m Jynx, a 4yearold Boxer mix with soft fawn fur, perfect little white socks, and a personality that’s equal parts snugglegremlin and backyard athlete. If you want a dog who can go from zoomies to cuddle puddle in under 10 seconds, congratulations — you’ve found your girl. I’m thriving, I’m goofy, and I’m absolutely ready to be adored.

My Social Life (aka: The Drama Section)
Listen... I’m working on my dog relationships. I had a rough situation in a previous foster home with a dog I did not vibe with, so for now, I’m looking for a home where I can be the only dog while I continue building confidence.

BUT — plot twist — my foster says my social skills have gotten way better. I’m no longer defensive, I don’t treat every correction like a WWE challenge, and I do great with her dogs and out in public. Still, because of the damage I caused in my previous home, if I ever live with another dog again, my human needs to be:

A trainer or someone who actually understands dog body language and how to manage a dog with a history of fights

Basically, not someone who thinks “dogs will figure it out.” I need a grownup.

Cats & Kids
Cats: I’m gentle and curious.

Kids: I can meet them, but I cannot live with them. I get nervous and lack confidence sometimes, and I need a calm, predictable home.

My Home Habits
I’m housetrained, leashtrained, and I behave beautifully when left out of the crate — because I hate being crated and I’m trustworthy without it. I’m spayed, vaccinated, heartworm negative, and ready to bring my lovable chaos into your life.

My Lifestyle Requirements
I’m a barker, so apartment living is a no from me. I need a home where I can express my opinions without getting noise complaints.

I’m currently in Hampton Roads, VA, but can be transported to other states for the right home. Please note, a transfer fee may apply if volunteer transport cannot be found. If you’re 21 or older, dogsavvy, and ready for a snuggly, playful, slightly dramatic companion, I’m ready to meet you.
