Hi, I’m Scarlet—a six-year-old, 44-pound Husky with the spirit of a woodland fairy and the confidence of someone who has never lived indoors a day in her life. I’m vaccinated, spayed, heartworm negative, microchipped, and absolutely ready for my next chapter... as long as it includes a backyard. A real one. With grass. And space. And preferably no slippery floors trying to assassinate me.
Let’s get this out of the way:
I have been an outdoor girl my entire life.
Indoor living? Never done it. Don’t know it. Not convinced it’s safe.
Hard floors? Suspicious.
Your living room? I will lie down and contemplate my choices until I feel brave enough to move again.
So yes, I need a home with a fenced backyard where I can take my time learning that houses are not portals to another dimension. I’ll get there—I’ve already shown improvement with encouragement—but I’m not about to sprint across hardwood like some kind of Olympic athlete. Let’s be realistic.
Now, let’s talk about my personality, because I’m kind of a catch:
I’m sweet, gentle, and loving.
I’m great with kids.
I get along beautifully with other dogs.
I ride in the car like a seasoned roadtrip queen.
I’m cooperative at the vet (I know, shocking).
I enjoy meeting new people—slowly, politely, and without chaos.
I'm also a vocal lass who will sing you the song of my people if I need to grumble at you...or just for fun!
Cats?
Well... I don’t care about them, but if one hisses and swats at me, I reserve the right to give a tiny “excuse me?” growl before going back to ignoring them. I’m classy like that.
I also come from a whole Husky family—there are two of us left looking for homes—so if you’re collecting Huskies like Pokémon, this is your moment.
I’m ready to learn what indoor life is all about: soft beds, cozy floors (once I trust them), and being part of a family. I just need someone patient, kind, and willing to let me take the scenic route into housedog life.
I’m currently in Lebanon, TN, but I can be transported to other states. A transport fee may apply if volunteer transport isn’t available.
If you want a sweet, sassy, outdoor raised Husky who’s ready to become an indoor princess at her own dramatic pace, I’m your girl.
