Hi, I’m Leia!

I'm a 1.5yearold, 70pound mediummix hurricane of joy (with a sprinkle of husky and a dash of “I do what I want”). I’m spayed, vaccinated, house trained, crateish trained, leash trained, and fully prepared to take over your household in the most adorable way possible.

Let’s get this out of the way:
I love water.
Sprinklers? Yes.
Hoses? Absolutely.
Wading pools? My personal spa.
Splash pads? I become a whole aquatic creature.
Fullsize pools? No idea—I haven’t tested those yet, but statistically speaking, I’d probably try to become a synchronized swimmer.

I’m a highenergy girl who believes playtime is a lifestyle, not an activity. My hobbies include:

Poking humans with toys until they participate in play

Turning squeaky balls into emotional support objects

Kicking my soccer ball like I’m training for the World Cup

Talking back when corrected (you’re welcome)

Stopping midwalk to sit and stare at absolutely nothing like I’m pondering the meaning of life

I’m sweet, submissive, and dramatic in all the best ways. I love people, I love dogs, and I’m open to meeting cats—no promises, but I’m willing to interview them.

I do have one “quirk”: I’m mouthy. Not in a “I’m trying to eat your arm” way—more like “I’m expressing myself.” Because of that, I’d do best with older kids who understand dog behavior and won’t take it personally when I sass them.

Now, about my leg:
I broke it when I was a baby, it healed a little crooked, and now I have a slight limp that adds character. It does not slow me down. I can outrun your entire neighborhood.

I sleep all night in my crate like a perfect angel. Getting into the car? I might act like you’re asking me to climb Mount Everest, but once I’m in, I’m great. Baths? I tolerate them like a martyr.

I’m currently living my best life in Fayetteville, NC, but I can be transported out of state for the right home (transport fees may apply if volunteer transport is not available). The husky breed is renowned for its striking appearance, characterized by piercing eyes and a thick double coat. These medium sized, energetic dogs are known for their friendly and outgoing personalities, making them wonderful companions for active families. Originally bred for sledding and endurance in cold climates, huskies are intelligent and independent, often displaying a strong prey drive. Proper training and regular exercise are crucial to keep these playful and social animals happy and well adjusted.
