Hi, I’m Pepper—a calm, gentle,, 63-pound pit mix with a brown and white coat and a heart that loves everyone. I’m five years old, spayed, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, and completely house, crate, and leash trained. I’m the kind of dog who fits into a home effortlessly.

I’m amazing with children—truly. Kids can lay with me, decorate me, snuggle me, and I never show stress or aggression. I’m just happy to be loved. I’m also wonderful with other dogs and even cats. Our cat snuggles right up with me, and I’m perfectly content. At the vet, I lay calmly on the floor with animals walking all around me and never react. I’m a steady, gentle soul.

I don’t bark, I don’t jump, and I’m more of a lazy dog than an active one. I love blankets, soft beds, and relaxing near my people. I can be trusted out of the crate, but I also do great in one if needed. I’m respectful, quiet, and easy to live with.

My only quirks? I love to dig a little spot in the dirt so I can lay in the cool ground. It’s my version of a spa day.
