Bella - Boxer and Bulldog Dog for Adoption in Andover, Massachusetts

This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to New England shortly with no additional travel costs. The long distance adoption process includes talking to the foster they are living with in the south. Roughly 90% of our dogs are successfully long distance adopted and 10% adopted locally.

Meet Bella, a 2-year-old Boxer / Bulldog mix, weighing 50 pounds (as of 7/26/26). Can you believe she was a stray in Tennessee? We can't either! With a smile like that and her charisma, this girl deserves her own TV sitcom! It'll be called: How I Met My Bella!

Like every quirky TV protagonist, Bella's got a heart as big as her playful personality. Her silliness is sure to make every audience member howl with glee. This joyful, goofy girl loves to run, play, and keep everyone smiling (mainly because we're always filming). She might even juggle just to impress you! She's especially obsessed with kids and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. We're not sure if she's met cats yet, but getting them to smile is her dream!

Bella walks well on a leash and harness, (though she pulls a little when excited). She already knows "sit" and "lie down," and has done well with house training. She isn't food aggressive, but she does eat like every meal is her favorite! Cue the sitcom laughter!

She only uses the crate for vet visits and since she doesn't currently live inside, Bella will need your patience and help when it comes to getting adjusted in your home. Just think of it as you getting promoted to a series regular role in Bella's TV sitcom! Congratulations! You're a main character now!

The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
