This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to New England shortly with no additional travel costs. The long distance adoption process includes talking to the foster they are living with in the south. Roughly 90% of our dogs are successfully long distance adopted and 10% adopted locally.

Will anybody find him somebody to loveee?! Meet Curt, a 10-week-old Black and Tan Coonhound / Lab mix, weighing 20 pounds (as of 9/13/26). All the way from Tennessee, he was found as a stray. But lucky him 'cause good days are ahead with you!

"C" is for cutie patootie. 'Cause he is one! He's also been exposed to cats, plays with other dogs and while he hasn't met children yet, they're sure to fall in love. Everybody does!

"U" is for understanding. He might not know what you're saying to him, but he'll pretend he does and be loyal to you to the bitter end.

"R" is for ready! He's spirited with puppy energy, so much so, when he gets too excited, he pees a little but he hasn't had any accidents aside from that! And come on, haven't we all been there?

"T" is travel. He'll be the best travel buddy because he's good on a leash and crate. He's the perfect pup you want by your side on the summer road trip you've been putting off! The wind in your hair. Shades shielding the sun. Doesn't that sound great?

The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application.
