Faye Friend - Cattle Dog and Collie Dog for Adoption in Andover, Massachusetts

This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to New England shortly with no additional travel costs. The long distance adoption process includes talking to the foster they are living with in the south. Roughly 90% of our dogs are successfully long distance adopted and 10% adopted locally.

Hooray for Faye! Meet Faye Friend, a 10-month-old (on 9/23) Cattle Dog/Collie mix, weighing 30 pounds (as of 8/8/26). Despite being dumped by her owners in Tennessee, Faye still travels through life with a happy-go-lucky attitude! Get ready for lots of parties and lots of smiles!

UPDATE: Faye is so sweet and smart, did not have any accidents and loves cuddling, playing with her ball (she is great at fetch) , and riding in the car! SUCH a perfect girl!

Faye is a great pup whose playful energy will certainly keep a family on their toes. Soon, your life will be filled with fun house parties because this girl knows how to rock! While she gets along with other dogs, Faye LOVES to be the center of attention. Get that ring light ready! Faye's a star and she knows it! Kids and strangers alike will fall in love with her. We're not sure if she's met cats yet, but they're welcome to party too!

Faye has some experience with crates and is learning to walk on a leash, but she does know how to use a dog door. We assume she's house-trained as she is very good on overnight stays. She is full-grown and a wonderful size to have in any sized house or apartment. Are you ready for an adventure? Faye hopes she'll be having you say "hooray" everyday!

All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.

The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
